Sky performs training classes to new office and field staff. Upon successfully completing the course,
the individual receives a Sky Certificate, which is our stamp of approval.
The entire course takes a week, or 40 hours, to complete if consecutively completed.

Sky Retail Installation can customize training
to meet the specific needs of your program.

class 1
Introduction. Who we are, what we do and the policies/procedures set in place.
class 2
Estimating. How to read different variations of plans, how we perform take-offs and allocate man hours.
class 3
Hands-On. We sectioned off an area in our warehouse designated to hands-on training with a mockup of a retail space. Here the terminology is discussed, types of tools and hardware specific to our trade, how they are used, and finally, we roll up our sleeves to install a wide variety of different elements.
Class 4
Safety. We provide OSHA 10, Scissor Lift and Forklift certifications.
test
Once all 4 classes are completed, a test is taken for the individual to pass.
Sky Certified Training benefits our clients through improved quality control in the field. By having trained and certified leads
on-site, we are able to ensure our go back
rate is minimal, and we are providing consistent quality to our clients on every job.

Another focus of our program is to cross-train employees so they can be utilized on various accounts, giving us options during heavy
work periods.

Director of Operations

Through Sky Certified Training, our installers will learn a range of skills, from the basics
of installation and building, to finished work, leadership skills, the ability to run their
own teams, and to communicate effectively between their installation team, project managers, and customers.

By cross-training in multiple accounts and
skill sets, our employees create more value and versatility in their portfolio. By learning and mastering more skills, our employees gain the tools necessary to accelerate their career advancement.
